Engineering work is taking place in the Shenfield area, closing some lines.
No trains will run between Shenfield and London Liverpool Street / London Paddington / Heathrow Airport. A replacement bus service will run between Shenfield and Newbury Park Underground station. If you have a National Rail paper ticket or e-ticket, you can use your ticket at no extra cost on the Central line for connections to / from London.
If you are using contactless payment / Oyster card, you can also use the above alternative travel options but you will be required to pay the normal tap in / tap out fares for your journey.
During this time no trains will run between Southminster and Wickford, or between Southend Victoria / Shenfield and London Liverpool Street.
Rail replacement buses will be running between Southminster and Wickford, and also between Southend Victoria / Ingatestone and Newbury Park (London Underground Central line station) - where you can use your ticket at no extra cost to connect with a London Underground service towards Stratford / Liverpool Street.
Trains will continue to run between Norwich / Ipswich / Clacton-on-Sea and Shenfield (via Ingatestone to allow customers to connect with rail replacement buses).
