UK Train Journey Planner

Engineering work is taking place between Stafford and Crewe, closing some lines.

No trains will run on the direct route between Stafford and Crewe.

Avanti West Coast

The following services will run a reduced service, diverting where needed:

• 2 trains per hour between London Euston and Manchester Piccadilly, diverting via Stoke-on-Trent
• 1 train per hour between London Euston and Liverpool Lime Street, diverting via Alsager and Earlestown (not calling at Runcorn)
• 2 trains per hour between London Euston and Birmingham New Street, extending to Wolverhampton every other hour
• 1 train per hour between London Euston and Glasgow Central, diverting via Alsager
• 1 shuttle per 2 hours between Preston and Edinburgh

North Wales services will run between Crewe and Holyhead only. Stafford will not be served by Avanti West Coast trains.

Rail replacement buses will run directly between Stafford and Crewe.

CrossCountry

Rail replacement buses will run between Stafford and Stoke on Trent.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on Northern rail services between Stoke on Trent, Macclesfield, Stockport and Manchester Piccadilly.

London Northwestern Railway

Buses will replace trains between Stafford and Crewe / Stoke-on-Trent on the direct route. A reduced train service will run between Stafford and Crewe / Liverpool South Parkway via Stoke-on-Trent.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on alternative services between Liverpool South Parkway and Liverpool Lime Street.

Lumo

No Lumo services will run between London Euston and Preston / Stirling.
