Amended late night Northern service to / from Manchester Piccadilly from Monday 14 to Thursday 17 December

Engineering work is taking place overnight in the Manchester Piccadilly area, closing some lines.

  • The 22:46 Manchester Piccadilly to Stoke-on-Trent train will not run and will replaced by a bus
  • The 22:53 Chester to Manchester Piccadilly train will not run and will replaced by a bus
  • The 22:57 Buxton to Manchester Piccadilly service will not call at Heaton Chapel and Levenshulme. A bus will be provided from Stockport to Manchester Piccadilly
  • The 23:11 Crewe to Manchester Piccadilly service will not call at stations between Wilmslow and Manchester Piccadilly. A bus will be provided from Wilmslow to Manchester Piccadilly
  • The 23:13 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester train will not run and will replaced by a bus
  • The 23:16 Manchester Piccadilly to Macclesfield train will not run and will replaced by a bus
  • The 23:22 Blackpool North to Manchester Airport service will call additionally at Mauldeth Road, Burnage and Gatley
  • The 23:23 Manchester Piccadilly to Hazel Grove train will not run and will replaced by a bus.
  • The 23:28 Sheffield to Manchester Piccadilly service will be diverted via Romiley and will not call at Stockport. A bus will be provided from Romiley to Stockport
  • The 23:36 Manchester Piccadilly to Crewe service will depart at 23:37, will be diverted to run via Heald Green and will not call at stations between Manchester Piccadilly and Wilmslow. A bus will be provided from Manchester Piccadilly to Wilmslow to serve these stations
  • The 23:37 Manchester Piccadilly to Manchester Airport service will not run
